The Women Who Power Event Planning & Design Workshop is a 3-Day hands-on immersive event experience where you will collaborate with other event decor professionals to execute an on trend design while transforming a venue into a magical event.
What You will Learn:
Tablescape Design
We will teach tablescape techniques instructing business owners on how to creatively set a table for an event. This includes selecting appropriate tableware, centerpieces, and decorations that match the event's theme or style.
Balloon Design
We will teach balloon art techniques demonstrating how to manipulate and shape balloons into various designs and figures. The process involves using a pump to inflate the balloons, and then carefully manipulating them to achieve the desired design.
Draping Techniques
We will instruct on how to create elegant folds and drapes in fabric for use in event design. We will demonstrate and explain methods for measuring, pleating, and hanging the fabric in a way that achieves the desired effect. We will provide examples of different drapery styles and discuss how to select appropriate fabrics and hardware for each project.
Floral Design
We will instruct the business owners on the art of arranging flowers and foliage into aesthetically pleasing compositions. This will include lessons on flower varieties and techniques for creating various styles of arrangements. The goal is to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to create beautiful floral designs.
